Young Women's - "Egg"stra Special Birthday Surprise

My sister Stacy sent this idea to me today.  She has a young lady in her Ward who is celebrating her 12th Birthday today.  She thought it would be fun to have the Young Women write birthday messages to her on slips of paper to be place inside some Easter Eggs.  She drove around and collected all the birthday wishes and put them inside plastic Easter Eggs along with a treat.  I think she will be "Egg"stra "Egg"cited to open all the Eggs!!!!  Happy Birthday to all those celebrating birthday's this month!

Happy Birthday Subway Art

After creating the Easter Subway Art we decided that we couldn't stop there.  Since we were out to celebrate a week of Birthday's we decided that we should create a Birthday Subway Art sign as well.  I can't wait to display this in our home for the next family birthday.

60th Birthday Celebration

This past weekend we celebrated my Dad's 60th Birtday. We made t-shirts for all of the grandchildren to wear that read My Grandpa is...60! Each grandchild went into the office, put on their shirt, and came out with their special birthday surprise for Grandpa. All of the gifts were based on a memory they have had with him.

Instead of making a birthday cake...we made 60 cupcakes and formed them in the shape of a 60 on the table. It sure took him a while to blow them all out.

We had so much fun and can't wait to celebrate our mother's 60th birthday this spring.
