Young Women's Camp 2010 - Faith In Every Footstep
This year for our YCL Stake Devotional, on Monday evening, we had a member of our Stake Young Women's Presidency share with the Young Women some experiences she had while at BYU taking outdoor recreational classes. One of those courses required her to learn how to repel, how to climb on ice, how to climb a mountain, etc... She shared some really neat personally experiences that she had while taking this class. In fact, when it came time to take the final exam they were told that they would have to climb a mountain and reach the top. She happened to be the only woman to make it all the way to the top. She spoke about some of the mountain gear and how it relates to our spiritual lives today. The Young Women were really moved and I think all of us walked away feeling touched by her message.
