Beehive Messages - Happy Birthday BRADEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today (July 3rd) was our son Braden's 4th Birthday.  Yes....4 years ago he came in with a BANG!  Because Braden has older siblings he has been very anxious for his 4th Birthday to arrive.  I think he has been counting down for months!  He decided weeks ago that he would like a BEACH PARTY this year for his Birthday so we allowed him to invite a few of his 4 year old buddies to come to the beach with their families.  We had so much fun at New Smyrna Beach today.  The weather was just right for all of us beach bums!  The only down side to the beach today were the jellyfish that were scattered all over the place.  Luckily they were dead!  The children were holding them and we were all worried that one of them would get stung, but they all managed to walk away without any problems.  The Dad's, Mom's, and some of the kids rode boogie boards all afternoon.  Let's just say I don't think any of us walked away not having a good time.  THANKS AGAIN TO ALL OF YOU THAT WERE ABLE TO COME!

After the beach party, we headed back to our house for Birthday Cake and FIREWORKS!!!  It has become a tradition in our home to shoot off store bought fireworks on Braden's Birthday.  The big kids usually light them with Uncle Steve (my husband) while the rest of us watch in ah!  This year Dad even let Braden light one.  It was drizzling slightly so we all sat under umbrellas.

Braden also received some very nice gifts today from friends and family.  A few highlights were some new clothes, toys, some money from Grandma and Grandpa Hawkins (which he quickly stored in his pocket), and a new bicycle from Mom & Dad.

What a day for a special young boy!!!  We love our Braden very much and look forward to many more BIRTHDAY'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh so cute birthday party it was. I am also going to visit one of the most popular LA venues with my family for celebrating dad’s birthday. Actually I will be hosting a small surprise dinner party for him. I am really very excited for this bash and would love to share those pictures on my weblog!
