Primary Music Idea - The Holy Ghost

The Holy Ghost Testifies of the Truth of All Things.

I had been debating this past month as to how I might teach the song for June "The Holy Ghost" - page 105 in the Children's Songbook.  After reading the article in the March 2010 Ensign on page 10 & 11 called The Holy Ghost Testifies of Truth...my mind got thinking that this is the answer as to how this song should be taught.  It mentions 9 things that the Holy Ghost does to comfort us.  I decided to use these 9 topics to introduce "The Holy Ghost" to the Primary Children.  I found a plain white box at Michael's Craft Store.  I copied the pictures and the message from the Ensign and laminated them on some small black cardstock paper.  I had the idea of putting the pictures inside the box and wrapping the box with a white bow.  Once the box is open...I'll use the bow as a place to hang the pictures as we pull them out of the box and discuss them and then sing the song.  I really feel that this will help to show the Primary Children that the Holy Ghost is a gift from our Heavenly Father.

Note...the pictures are not crystal clear, but do look okay when they are printed.
