Primary Music Idea - LUCKY Charms

Take a few minutes prior to starting Primary Music Time to talk to the Primary Children about how LUCKY we are to be members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Arrange the LUCKY CHARMS on the floor or up on the chalkboard with the solid green side up.  Invite a reverent Primary Child to come up front and see if they can make a match.  If a match is made...sing the song that coincides with the song that is revealed.  With each match talk a little bit more about how LUCKY we are to have that particular blessing.

He Sent His Son
Follow the Prophet
The Church of Jesus Christ
I Am a Child of God
I Love to See the Temple

I'm attaching to this post the shamrocks that I created.  You will need to print these and glue them onto GREEN PAPER.  I laminated mine for durability.  If you would like the PDF file...please leave a comment with your email address or email me directly at jennifer.hawkins@hotmail.com.

    Jennifer,
    Are you doing all three of these activities this week? I just started teaching "Follow the Prophet" and love this idea but wanted to finish the verses of "Follow the Prophet" this week and I guess I could do this activity next week, the 21st. Just curious how your managing this with also teaching Follow the Prophet.I did teach the first 4 verses. So I could just have them sing those this week, and then on the 21st finish teaching the other verses.

    Just curious what your planning?

    Jennifer - I opened the four leaf clover just fine, but I'm having a hard time printing the footprints for follow the prophet. Can you email me one to copy.     I will be using this idea tomorrow in our primary in northern Mexico.
