Primary Music Idea - Stand for the Right

I love that this month's Primary Song is simple, but has such a strong message.  I decided to create a prop that the children could use while singing.  I plan on dividing the Primary in half.  One half that will have the prop with the BEE on it and the other half that will use the prop with the word TRUE.  On the word BE all of the Primary Children on that side will raise their hand with the prop in the air.  On the word TRUE all of the Primary Children on that side will raise their hand with that prop.  On the words STAND FOR THE RIGHT all of the Primary Children will STAND and raise that side of the prop up in the air. 

Their are two different ways that you can use the prop.  One way would be to attach it to a Popsicle stick and the other you can just leave an opening on the bottom and they can slide their hand into the paper.  I think I'm going to go with the slide on version.  If you go with the other version...I would recommend using the larger Popsicle sticks so they will be more sturdy.

Encourage the Primary Children to STAND FOR THE RIGHT in all that they do this month and encourage them to invite their families to do the same.  This is a great reminder for all of us this month to always strive to make wise choices.
