Primary Music Idea - Picture a Holy Night in Bethlehem
This activity was a SNAP! I popped up from behind the piano with my PAPER CAMERA and started taking pretend pictures of all of the children around the Primary room. I asked the Primary Children if they could picture what it would have been like to have been there the night that the Savior was born. Their answers were very much thought out. Each child then received their very own pretend paper camera and we took pictures of the Gospel Art Kit Photos as I pulled one picture out at a time describing the scene. After discussing the photo and taking our pictures we sang a related Christmas Song from the Children's Songbook. The Primary Children were encouraged to take their Paper Camera's home to use during Family Home Evening. They were so ready to go home and share their thoughts about that night with their families and having paper cameras to use made it that much more exciting!
If you would like a copy of the Picture a Holy Night in Bethlehem files...please comment here or email me directly at jennifer.hawkins@hotmail.com. Please be sure to leave me your email address!
Have fun taking pictures!
