Primary Music Idea - Primary Music Hearts

This Primary Music idea is perfect for teaching music in Jr. Primary or the Nursery. Give each Primary child a cut out heart on a stick to hold during Music Time. Every time the children hear the word LOVE they pop the heart out away from their bodies. You can have them raise them up into the sky or out in front of them. One of my favorite songs to do this with is JESUS SAID LOVE EVERYONE from the Children's Songbook. Look in the back of the Songbook for more songs about LOVE!

I made my hearts with heart paper that I purchased while up in Wisconsin at Target. I found it in the dollar bin section. I decided to scan the hearts so that if you wanted to use the same paper hearts you could. I cut out the hearts using my awesome Cricut machine and glued them to Popsicle sticks.

If you have problems opening the heart files on-line...email me and I'll send the file directly to you.

Thank you so much, Jennifer, for sharing and copying these cute, cute hearts. I'm using them this next week.
I love this idea!
It's perfect for junior.
I'm still working on the senior idea, and will share what I have soon.
